I do recall there was only one person I saw that said all that shit to you and that was JakeHoshgothen. Don't let ONE person ruin your life. He's just jealous of your work.

But there's one thing I don't get. I went to the site where the supposed "Stolen" music is, and all I want to know is, "Which of the songs came out first?" You are a very good songwriter, and Castle in the Sky was my personal favorite (thank goodness I downloaded it). I personally wouldn't want you to permanently leave.

Normally I just prefer to stay in the shadows and just simply observe the works aspiring artists such as yourself crank out. However I have to object to your course of action when dealing with the "stolen" accusations from, if I recall...ONE person. My justifications for my argument isn't just about simply rendering excellent works unviewable to people like me, but it's also considering the bigger picture.

For one, by allowing yourself to lose your temper and delete your own works because of just ONE person who failed to even PROPERLY justify and provide sufficient evidence that one or more of your works are "stolen", you have just announced to the whole world a MAJOR VULNERABILITY in your psychology. You are implying that if ONE person out of the thousands of people who have listened to and downloaded your music decides be a complete ass (you can thank the anonymity of the World Wide Web for that) and accuse you of stealing work simply because you uploaded it to another site you use to showcase your music that you can be taken down. It's just like building your foundation on a series of pillars. All it took was for one pillar to break and everything you work your whole life for just comes crashing down. That isn't how it should work.

Letting yourself lose it to a would-be bully is exactly what that bully wants. When he/she knows which buttons to press, that person can continue to exploit those vulnerabilities until there's nothing left. Why bother with those people who have nothing to show for themselves? Eventually those people will either grow up or become the scum of society. Take it from personal experience: if you don't react the way people want you to, they won't even consider you worth bothering anymore.

Please take my words into consideration before even thinking about committing to such an action like this again. I'd personally like to see the songs you just took down back up here again, especially "The Final Stand". :)

Wow I found Castle in the Sky two days ago, and finally got around to creating an account for the sole purpose of giving it a good review. I love that song, and luckly I have it downloaded.
Don't let the minority ruin this for the majority of us. Everyone loves your work, but some people are...well quite frankly some people are assholes. That can't be helped. If you let that get to you, and start deleting your work, then you're removing all the opportunities for the rest of us to express how much we like your work.

If you delete a song, sure no one will ever give it a bad review or zero it again, however no one will ever give it a good review either. The result just ends up being the alienation of your fans...

...I haven't gone over all your material to properly verify anything as being stolen, but that's just a rotten attitude. The track I just listened to proves that you know what you're doing, both in handling the recording level, the sheer intensity, etc., and it's just a big pain in the ass to give into a jealous detractor and pull out like this. I sincerely hope you don't go through with your threat, because that means those other talentless pigs--who prefer grinding axes to making or even appreciating music--get to force their will upon another poor punching-bag.

That's bad form. I say screw them and proceed as initially planned. Pretty soon I'm going to craft a Flash that needs a soundtrack like the one you can provide. Postscript: if you did swipe a track (I assume you're above that), the voices of detractors ought to be a kick in the head to produce original material. Then again, you probably didn't swipe anything, meaning their belligerence is unfounded and I don't blame you for becoming frustrated with some of the roughnecks lurking at this site. Just take a few deep breaths.

Dang, Castle in the sky was my favorite song. Thank God I downloaded it. Don't let those fags get you down man. Most artists receive shit from a few assholes.
